My first vegan stop in Lima: El Jardín de Jazmín.
Strolling Miraflores district (Lima’s touristy hub, walking distance from the beach), you’re likely to stumble upon a place with vegan-friendly options to grab a bite and una cerveza.
We took a seat on the bejewelled pillows and I poured over the menu (thanks to my Spanish-speaking better half). Hamburguesas, sandwiches, pastas, small bites.
The house-made herbal lemonades were fresh and sweet – the perfect way to quench our thirst on a warm Summer day.

Broccoli and onion Tequeños with guacamole… crispy, indulgent deliciousness.
We opted to share the Hamburguesa Azteca (black bean patty and guacamole) with a side of roasted tatoes and VEGAN AJÍ SAUCE! *angels sing*
Simple, fresh eats. Good prices. I’m in heaven.
Thanks, Happy Cow, for the recommendation!
